Faced with possible congressional legislation to roll back the EPA’s proposed regulations on climate change, the White House has reportedly promised to veto any such legislation. This threat has not been widely reported in the press. Hence, I am mentioning it two months after the threat was made. This threat should give pause to the major power companies that are hoping to get Congress to stall new regulations that are now being worked up by the EPA.
